August 10, 2008 – Chamber Vespers:
Performers will be Leah Kidwell-Fernandes on harp; William Safford on bassoon; and Ellen Shapiro on flute.

Leah Kidwell-Fernandes is a freelance harpist based in Clifton Park and a member of First Reformed Church. She performs at weddings and other private functions and does orchestra playing in NY and Vermont. Leah will appear as a soloist with the Sage City Symphony in Bennington, VT this Fall.

William Safford, bassoonist and contrabassoonist, freelances in the greater Capital District. He is a graduate of Middlebury College. When Will is not playing music, he teaches motorcycle safety courses.

Ellen Shapiro received a Bachelor of Music from Ithaca College. She freelances in the Capital Region and has a studio in Troy. During the day Ellen is employed by St. Peter’s Healthcare Services in Slingerlands as a physical therapist.
